Gangster in hospital after Vancouver shooting : "30-year-old North Vancouver man with gang affiliations is in hospital after being shot in the early morning hours on Saturday.
Police think he was shot while driving his car.
“Shortly before 4:00 a.m., multiple callers to 9-1-1 reported hearing several gun shots followed by a motor vehicle collision near West 37th and Oak Street,” said Const. Jana McGuinness.
“Police arrived to find a 30-year-old man in the street, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. A car was located nearby on the sidewalk where it came to rest after apparently striking a parked vehicle and then mounting the curb,” she said."
