outlaw motorcycle gang aged 26 and 30, are Comanchero members and have been charged with conspiracy to murder and participating in a criminal group.

TWO members of an outlaw motorcycle gang have been charged over the shooting of a rival gang member in western Sydney last year.

Police say the men, aged 26 and 30, are Comanchero members and have been charged with conspiracy to murder and participating in a criminal group.

They were refused bail and will face Waverley Local Court tomorrow.

The pair were arrested about 7am (AEST) today at home in Matraville, in Sydney's southeast, after a police investigation into the shooting of a Hell's Angels member, Peter Zervas, in March 2009.

Officers from the Gangs Squad and the anti-bikie Strike Force Raptor executed simultaneous warrants at the premises and at the Comanchero clubhouse at Milperra, in Sydney's southwest.

Mr Zervas was gunned down while getting out of his car in front of his Lakemba residence.

He was shot multiple times but survived the attack.

A week before Mr Zervas was shot, his brother Anthony Zervas was bludgeoned to death in a brawl at Sydney airport involving Comanchero and Hell's Angels.
